MatchstarWe are conducting an executive search for the CEO of an online healthcare in-text advertising company.  Position can be located anywhere in the U.S., but Board prefers candidates already living on the East Coast.   Board is willing and able to put together the right package for the right candidate.  This is a key hire. Candidates must have a granular understanding of online advertising models and current trends.  Candidates must have solid relationships with online healthcare destinations.  Need someone who has sold extensively into the online healthcare community.  Candidates must have strong connections with interactive ad agencies that manage healthcare and life sciences ad campaigns.  Candidates must have recent and significant experience in a leadership role at an online healthcare company, or at an ad agency that represents online healthcare companies, or have demonstrated P&L management experience as a CEO or senior sales executive of an internet company which derives majority of its revenue via online advertising.

POSITION:   Chief Executive Officer.  Right now, you will only have a team of about a dozen people.  You will be fully in charge of your numbers, growth and hiring plan.  As you hit your numbers, you will need to build a team to support revenue growth.  Need someone that can build a top grade sales team from the ground up.

COMPANY:  Online healthcare in-text advertising company

LOCATION:  Position can be located anywhere in the United States.  Board prefers someone already living on the East Coast.  

COMPENSATION:  This is a key hire.  Board is willing and able to put together the right package for the right candidate.  The compensation package will include: base salary, bonus, and stock options.  Plus, there is a full benefits package. There will be an emphasis on incentives for outstanding performance.   The Board wants to hire someone who is very motivated.   

MANAGEMENT STYLE/CORPORATE CULTURE:     This position reports to the Board. They will only hire someone that is very entrepreneurial and passionate with a burning hunger for success; someone with a vision.  They want a CEO with new ideas and strong opinions, but able to move in a fast paced, ever-changing start up environment.  Looking for someone with an impeccable reputation for honesty and integrity.  Someone who is tenacious, resourceful, mature, collaborative, driven and results-oriented.  Need someone who is process-oriented and metrics driven.  Must be highly intelligent, flexible, creative, confident, but not arrogant.  Someone who is strategic and tactical.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a granular understanding of online advertising models and current trends.  

• Must have recent and significant experience in at least one of the following categories:  1) leadership role at an online healthcare company or at an ad agency that represents online healthcare companies 2) have demonstrated P&L management experience as a CEO or senior sales executive of an internet company which derives majority of its revenue via online advertising.  

• Must have solid relationships with online healthcare destinations.  Need someone who has sold extensively into the online healthcare community. 

• Must have strong connections with interactive ad agencies that manage healthcare and life sciences ad campaigns.  

• Must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit.  Need someone who enjoys the entrepreneurial atmosphere of a small company, but has been through the experience of scaling up an enterprise to significant organization size and revenues.  Experience working in a dynamic (i.e. “startup”) environment is preferred.  Prefer someone with experience building a brand from scratch.
