The Business Development Director will be responsible for delivering direct sales and repeat business while building and maintaining client relationships for our client located in the NYC area. The BDD's responsibilities include prospecting, account penetration, developing and delivering sales presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations, and client development.
Our client is an innovative experiential marketing services company serving the biggest, most exciting brands and entertainment companies in the world, including numerous Fortune 500 consumer goods companies. The company tripled sales and revenues from 2008 to 2009 and is on a similar trajectory for 2010. They are small, nimble, fun, and slightly crazy (in a good way).
Competitive base salary, lucrative commission structure, and an excellent benefits package. Sales professionals who meet their quota should earn $200k-$250K annually.
Requirements
•Min. of 5 years demonstrated success at direct sales and a track record of success at hitting a multi-million dollar quota
•Demonstrated success in selling high-value, high-consideration services
•Experience selling to VPs Marketing, Brand Managers, Promotions Managers, and CMOs
•Background in selling value-added services, software, complex technology, market research, media or marketing services a plus
